Grammy-winning R&B singer Ella Mai is coming to the Philippines on Wednesday November 6, 2019. Happening at the New Frontier Theater, Ella Mai will be performing her chart-topping hits “Boo’d Up” and “Trip” along with her latest single “Shot Clock.” Since announcing her Debut Tour last 2018, the UK singer has been going around the globe, one sold-out show after another.
Ella Mai’s breakout single “Boo’d Up” sold for 5x Platinum and earned her a Grammy for Best R&B Song. She also won three Billboard Music Awards for Top R&B Female Artist, Top R&B Artist & Top R&B Song. Ella Mai is an English singer and songwriter. In February 2016, she released Time, the first in her EP trilogy. The six-track EP included the single, "She Don't", which featured Ty Dolla Sign. She released her second EP, Change, in November 2016 and third, Ready, in February 2017. Her debut album, Ella Mai, was released on October 12, 2018 and sold 64,429 album-equivalent units with 16,777 coming from pure sales. She was also nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best R&B Song and Song of the Year with "Boo'd Up", winning for the former. In 2019 Ella Mai won the Billboard Music Awards for Top R&B Artist and Top Female R&B Artist.
